It's two to three flights a day, depending on the day of the week.

You are right, but except morning flight it's not fix as before + business class has been removed on all flights and aircraft too.

The ticket prices to/from ATH-LHR are madness with A3, maybe they prefer using the slot for ATH instead of LCA? Don't forget, in winter time there is an ATH-LGW flight.

They have a codeshare with TK no? It's smart of A3 in my opinion, no need to bother competing with TK on this route. Better to compete with airlines like BA that offer much worse service to LHR than A3 does!

The LHR slot A3 used for LCA-LHR was leased from VS and the lease expired.

Last rumor was they we're looking into LCA-LGW, but nothing came out of it as of now.

Correct the A3/TK CS is working very well for both parties. Full J on those services too so don’t see what the problem is! A3 use aircraft where they make money funny enough.

Well, if it's that important on a 50 minute flight, they codeshare with TK four times daily - and TK have proper business class seating (even widebodies for much of the year). I wouldn't use an award voucher on such a short flight and if I were actually paying for C class, I'd choose the TK flights anyway.

Well if even for such a short flight you like the Y mess especially in summer... but to be honest such inconstancy in the network is not a good thing for a non low cost airlines. PS : i guess i'm not the only one but i feel that prices are up like crazy since few months, used to be well positioned vs competitors but not the case anymore.

It looks like it's replacing a Q400 for the whole summer. Starts 25th March. The Q400 fleet were REALLY busy this past summer so I guess they decided one could be better used elsewhere. They could do two short domestic flights in the same time.

For me, I'd still take one of the TK flights on A330 or 777 in a proper reclining business seat. The A3 and TK business class fares are identical. The Aegean A319 is NOT nice. The first row is OK (but still more cramped than the A320 fleet) but rows 2 onward have a 'charter' pitch - even tighter than the seats at the back of the A320. If C class is expanded to more than one row I would be VERY unhappy with that. And who'd really pay 275 Euro for half an hour sat in that? A slightly nicer sandwich a glass of wine for an extra 215 Euro (61 vs 276 most days)
