nothing has changed for me
no SNU has been extended for me; still expire at 31.12.2021
I wonder the logic behind this extension....

Or, maybe it's simpler than that. Since @matmatlr has also reported having only 7 carried forward, perhaps Accor is just extending 'up to 7' 2021 unused SNUs to next March.

I got
3 SNU that will expired on 31/12/21
3 SNU that expired on 31/3/22
5 SNU that expired on 31/12/22

The first six SNU was earned on 2021

I guess I will forfeit those 3 and hope they implement simplify SNU usage on 2022 so I can use the other 3

Jaenks Dec 18, 2021 6:48 am

I got 2 SNUs in this year April with expire date 31.12.2022. Last week when logging in there was notification that SNUs will expire on 31.12.2021, use them before that time. Have not received that notification after that.
Currently the app and web page still showing expire date 31.12.2022.

Has anyone had experience with trying to utilize their SNUs expiring 31 Dec 2021 today? I was told by multiple Accor staff on the phone that as my SNUs expire today, I can no longer use them as the last day for use is 30 December (which sounds totally wrong).

Even looked at the ALL terms, which state "When a member has one or more Suite Night Upgrade(s) expiring on 31 December of the current year (year N), they will have until 11:59pm CET on 31 December of year N to make a booking and use the Suite Night Upgrade(s)." Completely contradictory to what these ALL customer service staff are saying, which is that I basically have until 30 December and not 31 December to use SNUs that expire on 31 December 2021.

Puzzling and very disappointing.

Worrying indeed. My understanding is the same as your : SNU expiring tonight must be used in a booking made before 31/12 even if the stay is in 2022. I received several communications from ALL saying this clearly. I am not concerned because I used all my 2021 SNU, but feel concerned for concerned members.

All I can suggest, is to call again. I know you said you spoke to multiple agents, but if all of the staff in your local area call centre are poorly trained (which is par for the course with Accor and Customer Service), then maybe try one of the international numbers on their website, to talk to a different bunch of people. Perhaps you'll get lucky and find a competent agent.

Jasper2009 Dec 31, 2021 9:40 am

After talking to several Accor agents it indeed seems like Accor implemented some moronic policy that had all 2021 SNUs expire yesterday.

The agent could actually see the 2021 SNUs with an "expired" note.

Not sure whether the Dec. 30 expiry is intentional or just another Accor IT screw-up, but it seems completely ridiculous! :td:

tth_ben Dec 31, 2021 5:44 pm

What I considered absolutely unacceptable is that this runs completely counter to what the contractual terms of the ALL program say. Have escalated this to one of the Accor management team. Will update when/if I hear back. Otherwise, all options are on table.

Received reply from one of the Accor CEO SEA team members: explanation that it was a "technical issue" in their system which listed all SNUs expiring 31 Dec 2021 as already expired on 30 Dec 2021. Apology extended and fresh SNU re-credited into my account.

Thanks for the good info! A sad state of affairs in USA. In November Delano Las Vegas wasn’t even bookable through Accor (but was through Hyatt). When SLS Beverly Hills was apart of Starwood, there were no limitations using SNAs.

I can't see anywhere that states Delano Las Vegas is even affiliated with Accor.
The brand website only shows the Delano South Beach.
Its bookable on the MGM Resorts website but nowhere to be seen on the Accor website

Delano Hotels - A Nourishing Resort (accor.com)

Can you add suite night upgrades after you have booked?

No. You would need to make a new booking.
