https://all.accor.com/hotel/B7T4/ind...nt-tab-2-panel

thanks; let's hope that is a good one. Last time i was in this area, I stayed in the 5 Terres Hotel & Spa, M Gallery in Barr. Was not really impressed...

They have taken over the hotel in Marysville, which is a nice spot to stay.

You really wonder why they open in May, but will operate under MGallery/Accor only from July
But a very good news of course to have this new beautiful hotel joining the MGallery brand.

When it joins the MGallery Collection, I'll go there and write a review for you all.

Hi from Split, Croatia
today, I walked by the future MGallery.
still no sign of Accor, MGallery but it is supposed to operate under this brand from July only. It is now bookable via Accor even before july (I just tried a dummy booking for end May). Here is what it looks like from outside :

unfortunately, what is facing the hotel is not so nice. I am sure there will be something built there one day or another.

The back side of the hotel is in a quiet pedestrian street.

As per what has been published by Accor, the interiors will be very nice obviously and the strong point of this hotel will be its location because it is outside the limit of the beautiful old town of Split but only 300m away. So you have all the advantages of being at the old town but no inconvenience like noise.
EcotoneHR : we wait for your review

It seems very expensive at over GBP200 per night (cheapest room on 17th August) for what the images show to be marginally better rooms than some nice Novotels.

The new European 4x Rewards Points for stays at new hotels promo dropped quietly, and it looks like we got a few conversions that have not been communicated before:
  • Berds MGallery Chisinau - I noticed it a while ago, but I don't think we ever mentioned it here at FT. If you ever find yourself compelled to go to Moldova, there's finally an Accor option. Apparently the hotel is quite OK, and certainly one of the better ones in town, so a nice pickup by MGallery.
  • Mercure Lubeck - a quiet pickup by Mercure and a welcome addition in one of Germany's best-kept secret destinations (unless you are a marzipan lover), as midrange-German as can be but good value and close to the train station, so you can use it as a base for visiting the terribly overpriced Hamburg and seaside destinations in Schleswig-Holstein. Not to mention a boon for those with business interests in the area
  • Mercure Mainz - looks fairly fresh and stylish, much better located and cheaper than the Novotel and a potentially good base for those visiting the Frankfurt region or having an overnight layover at FRA not wanting the classic "airport hotel" experience but rather going for some more bang for the buck in terms of views and experiences.
  • Ibis Styles Delft - this one appears to be all-new, located in a newly-built multiuse building next to Delft's train station. Not only is Delft perhaps the most charming of Dutch towns and cities, but also a convenient base for business or leisure visits to any of the destinations along Holland's busiest high-speed line.

Accor debuts Novotel brand in Cambridge

Accor has opened its first Novotel property in Cambridge, located close to Cambridge North rail station and the city’s business and science parks.

The new-build Novotel Cambridge North features 217 rooms with 55-inch TVs, “super-fast wifi” and rain showers, with other facilities including a restaurant and bar, gym, indoor pool, spa bath, and five meeting rooms accommodating between ten and 150 people.

In Doha, Qatar the Banyan Tree Doha At La Cigale Mushaireb just opened this week.
Banyan Tree Hotels and Resorts launches Banyan Tree Doha At La Cigale Mushaireb (iloveqatar.net)
Beautiful looking hotel, however, the room prices are pretty steep and it appears that the club/executive lounge is still not open.

The former Emerald Palace Kempinski on The Palm will reopen in Q4 this year as Raffles The Palm Dubai. It’s currently closed until September, which is when I reckon it’ll reopen under the Raffles brand.

Mercure, Benidorm, Spain

For the adventurous
The group Accor will be the first global operator to enter Benidorm. The company has closed the management of the old Benilux Park hotel with the owner, the Maracaibo SA family group. Accor will completely remodel the establishment and will go from having three to four stars, as explained by sources familiar with the operation. The firm will open the hotel at the end of 2021 under the brand Mercure Hotel, and will become the eleventh establishment of this brand in Spain. Mercure has 875 hotels in 61 countries and Accor has 5,100 hotels in 110 countries. The price of the operation has not been disclosed and the contract is a franchise.

Softly, as the dawn breaks, Accor continues to sign up new properties in CEE - this time, it is an apparently new build (or, to be precise, a conversion of an old distillery - but not a conversion of an existing hotel - as part of a new mixed-use development) in the historic city of Kraków in Poland, launching as Mercure Krakow Fabryczna City in September, without much prior fanfare:

Looks decent, and indeed a quiet update.

Stayed at most Accor properties in Krakow and though it's quite small, I really like the Bachleda.
