Mondrian Shoreditch London
A Mondrian flag will once again fly over a London hotel roughly two years after the brand left the UK.
Accor and SBE plan to open the Mondrian Shoreditch London in spring 2021, the hotel partners announced Monday morning. The hotel will be the sixth Mondrian and comes after Accor announced plans last month for an independent division for lifestyle hotels. Accor leaders see this sector as a potential for major growth in coming years.....

An IBIS and Novotel close to Düsseldorf Airport will open in late 2020. Signs are placed at the building, which appear if you search for hotels in Düsseldorf. The hotels are located closer to the Düsseldorf Airport Station (walkable from the location at Wannheimer Straße) than to the airport itself.

Mövenpick Hotel Hobart
Premium Swiss-born hospitality brand, Mövenpick, is on its way to Australia after Accor today announced it would open Mövenpick Hotel Hobart in January 2021.....

Just heard through a very solid source that the upcoming crescent-shaped Katara Towers in Lusail, north of Doha [Qatar] will be opening in May 2021 as Raffles Lusail and Fairmont Lusail. Accor has a job position recruiting a cluster F&B manager at this link.
The Raffles will be a 132-unit all-suite hotel with an additional 49 residences, while the Fairmont will have 361 rooms and suites.

Pullman West Bay Doha just called me to inform me that my March reservations would have to be cancelled as they are continuing to delay the opening of the hotel until Covid restrictions are loosened and tourists can come into the country.

SLS Cancun
The newest SLS hotel in the wider Caribbean is opening its doors this week, Caribbean Journal has learned.
Parent company Accor’s highly anticipated SLS Cancun will begin welcoming guests Feb. 10, according to its Web site.
The 45-unit luxury boutique hotel is set in the Puerto Cancun development, which is home to a marina and a Tom Weiskopf-designed golf course and centered around a private club.
