Some of these recent posts are not "big" or "private" sales. Maybe we need a different thread for individual country or regional sales?

This is great, hopefully this is for all hotels not just those who want to participate.

South America

Do people think South America is likely to be included in this sale?? I’ve only just made a few non refundable bookings for Argentina and Chile in Jan as the prices looked pretty reasonable!!! My bookings for Argentina were also supposed to be payable on booking but no funds have come out and its a week later! Is this normal??

Nothing abnormal. Some hotels charge at booking (the majority), some later and even much later.
If you are tempted to cancel those bookings to re-do them with the promo sale, I strongly advise you to not do it as your bookings remain non modifiable and not cancellable even if your CC has not been charged.

It’s just annoying cause I paid with visa debit and now I have to make sure the funds are there for them to take out payment anytime between now & January! I would preferred the payment come out straight away as per booking details.

Then why don’t you send an email to the hotel. I am sure they will be happy to take your money right away

I'm new to Accor Plus and was just wondering what rate the 40% discount will be applied to for the next sale (for pre-costings estimations). Would it be on the Advance Saver rate, Advance Saver w/ Breakfast, Flexible rate or Flexible w/ Breakfast rate?
