Added Sofitel So Bangkok to the wiki based on two stays.

The Ibis Tokyo Shininku and The Mercure Tokyo Ginza have thankfully changed from no drinks vouchers/juice cans only to drinks vouchers, although the Ibis drinks list is very limited

Added Mgallery Saigon to wiki.

I've always received drink vouchers in every Novotel, Sofitel, Pullman and MGallery I've stayed at regardless of whether a lounge was available. If you put 1 person on the booking, you only get one drink so all my bookings now say 2 people minimum

My suggestion here is to weigh up the cost here. In Indonesia, booking for two increases the rate and certainly to a higher difference to the cost of an extra free drink.

Not anywhere that I've stayed, the rates have always been the same. Staying at Sofitel Brisbane a couple of weeks ago I had the wife and kids with me, 4 people, no change in price to 1, and access to longe for all (only 2 drink vouchers though)

That's why I gave the Indonesia example. Doesn't apply everywhere (and even there not in all hotels). But should be noted.

I do confirm what Gilbertaue is saying : booking for 2 vs 1 may increase the rate. It depends on the country, the brand policy and also the rate you choose. By example, when you take a rate including breakfast, it is logically more expensive for 2.

Added the Sofitel Warsaw Victoria based on my last 3 stays.

At the Novotel Kraków Center I recieved one voucher for two persons and was so surprised (because the booking was for 2) that I forgot to ask for a second voucher. Will need another stay to confirm if this is normal for this hotel or not.

ibis riverside and ibis sathorn (bnagkok thailand) - drink voucher. depending on your status the voucher will have a number or a code written on it. i think for gold and platinums gets beer and wine added to the choices. otherwise it's soda and juices.

pullman g (bangkok) drink voucher for use either in the mezzanine or rooftop bar. i was a platinum on these trips so not sure if different drinks are offered for blue and silvers. selected wines, juices and colas.

Oh? This does indeed happen sometimes here in Indonesia perhaps, but in my experiences the norm is booking for 2 is the same price as booking for 1 (I'd say more than 99% of all the times I try booking a hotel here). The only time I noticed different rates for booking for 1 vs 2 was last March at the Phoenix Hotel Yogyakarta.

I gather this is Sofitel Sentosa ?

Stayed while they were undergoing renovation as "The Singapore Resort and Spa Sentosa managed by Accor" , similar non-alcoholic offering ... although was presented with a "On the House" menu which included hot drinks and juices.

Seems like a downward slide ?

OT: are the peacocks still there ? :D
