Haven't yet made 90 posts, or else I'd edit the wiki, but:

France:
Hotel Carlton Lyon (MGallery) - drink cert text said it wasn't good for champagne, but in fact that was what was offered in the bar. We didn't complain!

Sofitel Paris le Faubourg - I can't recall what the text said, but it was good for champagne in the bar.

Ibis Styles Chiang Mai... drink coupons not valid for beer but were accepted for more expensive (and time consuming to make) cocktails.

Mercure Nantes Centre grand hotel

We got a drink for one person only where we got for 2 persons in the past.
It seems that mercure hotels (at least in france) have received orders to strictly offer 1 drink only (discussion with the barman) from last september.

We also had one drink only in Mercure Levallois Perret (november).
On the opposite, we got 4 drinks in Novotel La defense (2 rooms) and 2 drinks at Mgallery Rennes last december.

Does any of you had similar experience ?

A lot of the hotels in France seem to try to say it is just one drink, even if you book for two adults. But usually if you push them by saying it isn't right to deny the other person a drink they will give you a second drink coupon.

And by the way, Holiday Inn's in France are exactly the same in this respect.

That's my experience as well in Mercure in France.

Lucky you. I didn't succeed.

I did not succeed either ! :(

I think it is a bit mean when you book for 2 adults...

However, I dont know how it works when your "partner" is also silver or higher, because he/she is entitled to the welcome drink when booking a room...but you can not book a room on 2 Accor account s!

I usually travel alone on business, but the Mercure Grande Motte is where I was able to get them to give us two drinks. YMMV.

Winter Palace, Luxor provides everyone with a glass of iced hibiscus tea (karkare) or dom fruit juice on arrival.

Got the welcome drink voucher last time I stayed there but, as I'd already been upgraded to a suite that was bigger than my flat, at home, I felt too guilty to use the thing. However, I was assured it would have been good for at least local beer, wine or spirits.

GERMANY:
Pullman Schweizerhof Berlin: There seem to be different drink vouchers for silver and gold/platinum member. Got the latter (as Platinum) and was able to choose between Pullman Cocktails collections (approx. 6 cocktails), wine, beer or any softdrink.

Myanmar - Novotel Yangon Max

Drink vouchers for 2.
At first upon presenting my voucher the server said we could have sodas, fruit juices or tea/coffee
Moments later he came by to apologize, he had not noticed that I had Platinum status and brought the cocktails menu along (the voucher did have a small handwritten "P" in a circle)
No nibbles, but the ground floor bar is really cool

Novotel Warszawa Airport

No issues at all in getting 2 drink vouchers. That said, in the past they would have normally tried [at the bar] and said "We do recommend Polish beer" in response to my "Can I get a beer please", however they now recognise me most of the times and serve me the usual Paulaner on sight ;)

Novotel Gdańsk Marina

Same here - no problems whatsoever for 2 drink vouchers when travelling with the Mrs, however they do specify (there's a leaflet at the bar) what you can actually get with that voucher and I'm afraid special beers (as they call them - Paulaner is, I wonder why, amongst those...) are not included so it's basically down to water, coffee, tea, a couple of fruit juices & Żywiec beer.

novotel gdańsk centrum

Without knowing much in detail, it seems that the 2016 Accor Loyalty Handbook which has been submitted to hotels mentions explicitly that 2 drink vouchers should always be offered to loyalty guests.

Amy, Accor Concierge can this be confirmed?
