PabloM, it may be only for certain countries. More probably, AFAIK the general rule is that if you joined e-r via an invitation from a hotel co., you can redeem ER$ (called Opinion Points in other countries) only for that hotel co. but any airline. If your original invitation was from an airline, then you can get miles only from that airline, but points of any hotel company!

Enzo, every time a stay at a new chain, I join their program just in case I stay with their hotels again. So I joined Accor on last year's trip to Europe, then cleaned out the points into Avios. Now I have nearly abandoned Accor & turned my attention to programs better for me.
I'm happy to have gotten a little something from Accor for my stays with them in Europe, but now I have nearly abandoned Accor & turned my attention to programs better for me.

Do you know if there is a way to get around this? Or do I have to start all over again?

That's interesting to note Brendan. I joined via IHG - so can see them, but not Accor.

You will get all the darn options if the program you joined under later decides to end their participation in e-Rewards. So those of us who joined under Delta (or in my case, Northwest) are in luck. I've been going with IHG the past two years because, for some odd contractual quirk, they've posted as elite-qualifying. Their current airlines, car, and hotels list for USA participants:
Flying Blue
Alaska
American
Avios
British Airways
Choice hotels
Club Carlson
Aeromexico
Emirates
Ethihad
Flex Perks
Frontier
Hertz
Hilton
Hotel Club
Iberia
IHG
Jet Blue
LaQuinta
Le Club Accor
Southwest
United
US Airways
Virgin Atlantic
Virgin America
Wyndham

Just signed up 3-4 days ago and just wondering how often do they ask to do these surveys or etc? I have a little bit of spare time and might as well make it productive.
I dont mind spending 30-60mins a day earning a few points to go to Accor points.

It's not a daily 200+ airline miles like the Opinion Outpost child programs (Opinion Miles Club, etc.) can be, but each individual survey you get does tend to be a little bit to a lot higher value.

I'm USA-based and don't have a terribly interesting profile, and I average probably 1-4 surveys a week for $300-$450 in e-Rewards currency a year. If my profile said I was in IT and/or purchasing, I'd probably do better.

Sometimes you get like 25 points after spending 15 minutes of questions because you are not in the target
In comparison 2000 points could get you between 1000 ans 2000 miles with some airline partners

I've deleted e-rewards. I registered last week and had 3 or 4 surveys e-mailed to me but every time I clicked (within moments of receiving the e-mail usually), all the surveys had expired. Strange. What's the point is sending a survey if it has already expired?

Well I understand that but I was responding within minutes of receiving the e-mail!! And this happened 4 times within a week. Perhaps the server takes too long to send out the e-mail to everyone so by the time it has sent it to some of us, they have already fulfilled the quota. Anyway, I can't be bothered with it!
