It was fine. I got upgraded to a Loft with a Terrace and had an overall pleasant stay. You can read more in the thread for that hotel:

I stayed at Edition Hotel - West Hollywood and others around the world (Barcelona, London, Abu Dhabi). They don't formally recognize any elite (e.g. like late check out, SNA upgrades, breakfest and etc) but they do give out points as a welcome gift. In terms of West Hollywood:
- Location: Its in a prime location for LA and its probably $35-40 uber everywhere you want to go but the location is safe and fantastic.
- Upgrade: I booked a Standard King but in 3 occasions I did get upgraded to Deluxe King/Loft
- Platinum Benefits: No free breakfast was provided but I did get late check out till 1/2pm
- Room: The room it self - the decor/the space/furniture I much prefer than W/JW/Westin/Autograph collection and the Le Labo amenity toiletries are fantastic.
4 pm check out is guaranteed at EDITION hotels but not at resorts/convention centers. I am also a fan of Le Labo but tbh don’t really love the custom edition scent. I wish they used the same products you get at Park Hyatts.
