I remember a flight I took a few years ago into ORD on a 757 and I was sitting in 2A. We docked at one of the outer C gates and after the seat belt sign went off, there was the normal rush of folks by the rest of the F passengers to get their stuff out of the overhead and queue up facing aft. I looked out of the window thought to myself that we had stopped shorter than normal for a 2L deplane and sure enough, the jetbridge operator drove it right over to 1L. I exited my seat and walked forward and informed the surprised purser that 1L was being used. I ended up being the first off the plane.
