I placed my order on 9/16 and it was delivered on 9/29. I sent an email last night and got this reply today.

Dear Valued Customer:

Thank you for contacting Wine Insiders. It takes 8-10 weeks for dividend miles to apply to you account after date of order.

If you should have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to
contact us by email or by calling 800-615-7304.

Best regards,

Thanks for posting your response from them.

It's annoying that they are probably not going to post the miles until after the last date for completing partner activity. That means if they decide not to post anything it will be too late for an emergency hit.

Anyone remember if/when these guys posted miles last year?

FWIW, I did a purchase from Wine Insiders outside of the GS on 3/29/11. Miles posted 5/1/11.

I ordered on 10/3/2010 and the miles posted on 12/1/2010. And, that was after many emails to customer service. I don't know why I put myself thru the same torture with these guys again this year.

I ordered on 10/16, and the stuff has not even shipped yet. I am getting a canned response that there are in the warehouse? Where is the warehouse? On MARS? How can it take 2 weeks to "process" my order?

No kidding. I received my wine 13 days after it was ordered. Still have not received my DM credit.

Single Item Purchase qualifies for Miles with code USA016?

Hi there,

Just received a promo below, with the code USA016, would one qualify to receive 4 miles for every $1 spend even for just a single item?

"Get $6.99 wines shipped for 1 cent & 1,000 bonus miles*

Like nice surprises? Then you’ll love our mystery 12-pack – exquisite wines we’ve overstocked – now just $6.99 a bottle and delivered to your door for just a penny.

This is not a club, just a great deal. You’ll get:
1,000 bonus miles
4 miles for every $1 you spend
Choice of red, white or mixed
1 cent shipping direct from the wineries to your door (a $19.95 value)
Just use promo code USA016 and provide your Dividend Miles number."

I tried a dummy order for a single bottle but it gave me an error about code conditions not met. This must be for the 12 bottle sampler.

Just a couple questions before I pull the trigger on a $90 hit (but really much less since I see value in 12 wines, but wouldn't get them without the promo)

1) I just want to make sure that the activity date has been the shipping date for everyone? We have 11 days 'til the end of the promo, is there still a backlog? There is a money-back guarantee and if the posting date was after the promo, it shouldn't put my miles in trouble ... but money-back guarantee seems tough without getting the CC involved.

2) It's a one-time charge, right? This whole business about "monthly subscriptions" makes me hesitant.
