Combining United and (formerly) Continental Mileage Plus Accounts
Is it still possible for me to combine two of my mileage plus accounts with the same name on them free of charge? One of them was formerly my Continental one and I missed the boat on the previous combination offer prior to the official merger.

They should have merged on their own if one was a UA account and one was a CO account. There must have been enough differences in them to keep the system from seeing them as the same person.
I would first try the method on this page
Merge MileagePlus Accounts
and if not after seven days contact customer service for help
http://www.united.com/web/en-US/cont...s/default.aspx
and let them see what the issue was and combine the accounts.
Wouldn't expect a quick response from them though.

I was not able to merge them using the online tool. I started working with CO and UAL in January, and finally got them merged this week.
You will need to call them, and hope you get an agent that is useful.

I would call MP and not email. If there's a problem, they can get the information needed on the spot, fix it and let the process move forward. There are times when there's an extra space or something you don't even notice and that prevents a match.

I was never able to find a contact phone number for them and would still like to merge my accounts. Has anyone found one?
Thanks again!
Forgot to add that I tried using the automated tool and it wouldn't let me merge the accounts citing that the names on the accounts don't match when in fact they are exactly the same!

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8310/4.5.0.180 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/120)
Has anyone attempted to merge 2 (or more) MileagePlus accounts (same name, same person) post integration online?
1) Is it a fully automated process with no human approval required at UA?
2) Is it immediate, ie are the combined miles available for use immediately?
3) Are all duplicate miles (eg topguest check-ins, old Onepass sign-on bonuses) automatically deleted? Do they consider duplicate if they are earned on the same dates?
