On the 739, the bulkhead row is "normal". You get no seat in your face, easier aisle access from the window seats, slightly more knee room, and first row. You lose legroom that would be available under the seat in front of you, have to put up your bags, and the row 1 bins are somewhat narrower due to the fuselage shape.
So, classic personal choice there. I prefer row 2.

These seats are not E+ on a 739 ?
I'm flying on a 739 from EWR to MCO this sunday. I am a silver elite so I'm not worried about not getting an upgrade on a flight to Orlando but this caught my attention on the seating map. I saw row 12D, E, and F are listed as standard coach seats. I just moved my seats there for no charge. Yet on the other side of the aisle in row 12 A, B, and C is shows those seats as E+ with the usual fee ? Does that make any sense ? It also shows the 2 rows behind that, the 2 before the exit rows as all standard coach as well... Does that make any sense ?

Yes, they still have some aircraft with that config.

That happens because of the mid-cabin LAV on the left side of the airplane. Because of that LAV, the economy seats in front of the exits are slightly misaligned with the same row of seats on the right side of the cabin. This misalignment is absorbed into row 12 allowing the extra E+ spacing on the left side in some configurations.

It's v2 of the 739, as depicted on the UA website: 737-900. (note I can't link direct to v2, so you have to click the tab to see that version).
Wouldn't recommend you rely on seatguru for anything.
