Multi page threads such as https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/mileage-run-discussion/1843941-fare-gone-aa-sea-atl-dtw-msp-slc-cvg-pap-369-a-6.html don't have a page change option on mobile anymore. This previously worked.

Anyone else ever use multi-quote on the mobile skin? There seems to be a glitch whereby the multi-quote buttons only work on the initially-loaded page. If you infinite scroll in either direction, although the buttons appear, tapping on them does not select them. So the only way to multi-quote posts that appear on different thread pages is to select all the ones on one page, then manually change the page number using the input field at the bottom where you can type in a page number, switch to that page, and select the remaining posts, then tap the Reply button.

Dolphin v11.5.19 on Android 7.1.2 but have observed on older versions of both, just never got around to reporting until now.

Not really a huge deal, but FYI.

Another month, still no fix? I notice instagram fails as well. If you're not going to fix it, the polite thing to do is just admit it.

I am experiencing the opposite problem. I went to the full site version on one page yesterday in order to see the embedded media. I tried to switch back to the mobile skin version and it hasn't worked since. On most pages it won't even allow me to use the mobile skin and when it does it reverts to the full version once you move to the next page.

I have tried logging out and in again. Can anyone please help with a fix?

Hi all,

In general, I don't think our developers are iterating small changes on the mobile skin right now.

They are instead prepping a major new release, ETA currently is for the end of summer, but that could change.

I apologize that the skin is not working properly for everyone; rest assured we will have an improved version soon!

Hopefully this helps, but I am able to force the missing page bar on any multipage thread using the following steps:
- Safari on iOS
- Open new tab in private browsing mode
- Google flyertalk forums
- Go to any thread through that link without going to the FT home page
Ex: google FT united and go to subforum, then any thread

Bar should be missing then. For some reason, if I go to the FT home page -> forums-> any thread, then the page bar shows up as expected.

Let me know when the website works again. It’s pointless for me to start at post 31 when I want to read post #1 of a thread. UA, USA to China OJ from $303 ai
google searching each forum is not a viable solution. Can we have a mobile app again?

I'm not sure what you are describing -- are you saying you can get into the thread, but you can't navigate to the post you want?

New and IMO broken behavior noticed in the last week or so:

I open a thread that has new posts. I notice it says I am on page, let's say 5/8. In the mobile skin, when I reach the bottom of the page, it does what I think of as "limited infinite scroll" by "advancing" one page to load and display the posts on page 6. When I reach the bottom of page 6, it stops and does not scroll to page 7. (This is totally fine by me and not the bug I am reporting. Also I notice the page indicator at the bottom still says 5/8 even though I am really now on 6/8. This is a bug, but also not the one I am reporting. Keep reading )

Old behavior:

What used to happen is, I would go back to the subscriptions page, the thread would still show that I have unread messages in that thread, and if I opened it again it would show me page 7/8 and then if I scrolled forward, it would also load page 8. Then I would be caught up. In this manner I could iteratively catch up on a thread with lots of new(-to-me) activity, two pages at a time. Quirky, but reasonably acceptable to me as a user experience.

New (broken) behavior:

As soon as I read page 6, then go back to subscriptions, and open the thread again, it acts as if I am caught up on the entire thread and takes me to the end of page 8 even though I never read either page 7 or page 8. So if someone is not paying attention it is easy for them to miss one or more pages of posts and think they are caught up.

It would seem that something has broken either in how the forum software keeps track of the last message you've read in a thread or how it computes what the first new message is, something like that.

I first noticed this possibly as early as a week ago, but wasn't convinced about the order of events and whether I was just confused, but I have started paying attention to how many new pages there are when I open a thread and have definitely reproduced this as described above.
