Compatibility probably hasn't been 100% certified yet for the very latest models. I'm sure it'll be included in one of the next updates.

I am at the Element in Denver and my SPG Keyless worked for 1 day. I left my room to get a water from downstairs and when I tried to use my phone again - it did not work. I even restarted my phone before going down stairs. No luck.

I even tried to go into the gym with the phone - no luck. After wasting 20 minutes trying to buy a water, I just asked for a key - because she said it would take even longer to reactivate the phone.

Is this a common thing? Do you always have working phone keys? Or have others been in similar situations?

I am not sure if you know who I am, in regard to my SPG #. (it wouldn't surprise me if it is noted in my account now....)

But anyways, I did leave feedback via the SPG app, although I could provide further details as necessary.

-Verizon VS895 Phone (aka LG G3 phone)
-Latest public Verizon OS (my phone is not rooted or modded in any way) 5.1.1 Android OS version
-SPG App Version 4.0 from Android Play Store
-No errors. The door just kept flashing green. It definitely knew my phone was there.

Tell my ambassador to do something extra nice for me on my stay at the Royal Palm in Miami for me providing these data points

Can you use keyless to do a mattress run without ever physically going to the hotel?

Thank you for finally supporting Droid Turbo! I should have tried it again before my previous complaint that it still wasn't working - which I replaced with this thank you!

I did notice when I registered that, like every time I make any change to my account on my phone, I get multiple text messages congratulating me on linking my account with various social media accounts, as well as for achieving Lifetime Gold - which I achieved a long time ago (and apparently many times since...). I wonder if anyone else saw that when they registered for Keyless.

Mattress Run with SPG Keyless?

Can you mattress run by just finding a cheap hotel anywhere (with Keyless) and checking in or does SPG track if you use your key to prevent that?

Same question asked YESTERDAY here: SPG Keyless (mobile, keyless check-in) - Now Live [Master Thread]

I would think not... Chances are you've given up your location with the app so SPG will know if you were anywhere near the property.

I seriously doubt that anyone would consider coding a system to decide whether or not you were a guest of record based on it detecting if you had been 'anywhere near' the hotel in question.

Actually, one of the keyless systems I've read about actually does sense your location and notifies the property of your pending arrival. Programmers have a habit of doing things you'd think would be useless and until it bites you in the butt, you'd never think they'd do it.

But you are entitled to your opinion.

I had two Aloft stays recently, neither of which allowed me to use keyless. I've an iPhone 6 and iOS 9.1.

In both cases, I could see my room number once I checked in, but I was not presented with any alerts about checking in, using keyless, etc.

My phone shows as registered for keyless.

What am I missing?
