South African Airways offers First class on it's 744 but not on the 34x fleet. As far as I know this 744 fly on the London route.

I thought the direct flight to LAX replaced the one stop via KIX? And I doubt there's F on the A345 to LAX. I'd be pleased if I'm mistaken on both though.

Oh and MD11s are meant to have been phased out sometime earlier this year.

In that vein for the current thread, it may be required to know that all the carriers above call F "First Class" except for TG which has Royal First Class.
See this thread.

At the moment it's only JNB-LHR and (JNB-IAD until June). We'll have to see where they redeploy the 747's after June - with any luck they'll reinstate them on the CPT-LHR route.

SAA only has 744's now AFAIK, not "747 all variants" - though they certainly have flown many in the past.

Yes you're right. They only have 744's and no other 74x in their fleet. Their webside states that they have 8 744's with 3 classes (F/C/Y), 6 A342, 3 A343 and 7 A346 all with two classes (C/Y).

Aren't all SQ 772's the ER version? You mean the international configured 2-class with Spacebeds, right?

NH will frop F service from the SFO route as of July 1. Following July 1, the route will be served by both 2 and 3 class aircraft. Service will be 2-class but on the dates that the route is serviced by 3-class equipment the F seats are available to reserve for full fare C passengers.

So the rumors that they will be reconfiguring some 772s to a C/Y+/Y configuration for IAD and SFO are true? Maybe we'll see a new city added?

Apologies for not being clear. The 2-class a/c with spacebeds are listed by SQ and 772-ER, the 2 & 3-class a/c without spacebeds are listed as 777-200. See SQ fleet info.
