You can certainly do that, but you'll be restricted to ordering what's on the menu, which will be more restrictive than the choices you have if you BTC (but it will also most often be different from the choices you have when you BTC). You may also not necessarily get your first choice from the menu, depending on what the other passengers order.

If you BTC, you guarantee that you're able to order exactly what you want off the BTC menu.

anyone?

Any experiences of BTC on the BCN-GRU route?

I'm flying in October, shortly before the final flight.
I was thinking of going with the Suquet as it's a Catalan dish and stews tend to do very well when re-heated.

As a Valencian I'm slightly less tempted by the paella, I am usually wary of any paellas served outside of a 20 mile radius of VLC. On the other hand I guess I'll never get another chance to try SQ's interpretation of my home city's native dish...

Flying SQ for the first time this September, LAX-NRT in J on the A380.

My Top Choice Options:
- Grilled free range chicken with fettuccine pasta and wild mushroom sauce
- Peppered fillet mignon with mustard jus, chanterelle mushrooms, fava beans, and paprika red potatoes
- Wok-fried black pepper chicken with carrots, zucchini, gingko nuts, and steamed rice

Any thoughts on any of these three choices? Was hoping for Lobster Thermidor but unfortunately it's not offered out of LAX in J.

Me too! I'm tempted to get the brisket since it's Houston. It makes sense.

I'm not sure my IAH-DME-SIN selections transferred to the new IAH-MAN-SIN route in Nov. I can't select any BTC for that right now... Wonder if I'll be able to do 2 BTC options now instead of the one on the old route.

Any suggestion on BCN-SIN?

Selection for lunch
- Stuffed cannelloni and tomes of sauce
- Braised iberico pork cheeks with potato mash
- Seafood and rice vermicelli soup
- Thai red curry pork and rice
- Beef fillet with grain mustard sauces with potatoes
- Sesame chicken with fried rice
- Vegetable paella
- Mixed paella seafood and chicken
- Stuffed chicken breast with spicy white beans
- Teachow fish porridge

Breakfast
- a Beef fillet with grain mustard sauce with potatoes
- Spanish breakfast cold cut and cheese
- Seafood and rice vermicelli soup
- Teachiw fish porridge
- Stir fried chicken with noodles
- Multigrain muffins with ricotta and yoghurt

Seems they are offering some for both meals and no Japanese option

I really like the nasi lemak, but it definitely won't be as good as the best (or even some of the best) nasi lemak you can get in Singapore.
