It appears that Jetblue tickets are getting reimbursed. I had $48 of another one reimbursed a couple of weeks ago, and it even shows that it is applied to an airline ticket- and not an even more space upgrade seat. As I fly Jetblue a good bit, this is working for me!

Once again I bought a Jetblue RT ticket (this time on my Platinum card) and part of the airfare was reimbursed ($36)-as that is all that was left of my $250 air credit on that card.
This one was also listed as an airfare as well. I don't know if Jetblue has changed policies.

Did you buy the ticket directly from JetBlue on their website? Originally Posted by Runner123

I have a trip coming up, and might also give this a try.
My recent airfare purchase was not reimbursed, but my purchase of Even More Space was reimbursed
8/23 - $55 purchase for Even More Space
8/25 - $55 reimbursement from Amex
8/24 - $165.80 purchase for airfare from jetblue.com
no reimbursement
Has anyone recently tried making a jetblue gift card purchase to see if it would be reimbursed?

Thanks all for the info. Unless i'm missing something B6 is no longer offering gift cards. I'm not planning to fly JB for the rest of the year so is there another way to get American Express to recognize the remaining $100.00 as a B6 fee?

I'm also not planning on using JB the rest of the year, is there any way to use the $200 credit?

I am not a JetBlue flyer, and there may be some other strategy, but I would simply call customer service and explain that I will be not be flying B6 between now and the end of the year, but I will be flying [insert airline], and ask if it would be possible to change my airline preference. If the initial answer is no, I would speak with a supervisor and politely mention that competing cards issue by Citi and Chase do not limit reimbursements to a single airline.

I upgraded to Even More Space seats last week and was reimbursed the $60 fees about two business days later.
