I think the AA discount with code AN and 306103 is really not a lot.

With a costco or a AAA card discount, the deal is much better.
Anyone has any better deals?

I need a car for San Diego next week and Alamo is coming up the lowest, but none of the previously mentioned codes are bringing the rate down any lower. (the dates I will have the car are 8/29 - 9/5). What is the Costco code mentioned above? Are there any other codes I could try?

Thanks!
Scott

I don't have any coupon. Just the AAA or Costco card.
You can call and ask if they need to see the cards in order to give the discount. Most of the times they dont.

The current issue of "This Week Maui" has the 6T ad, but it states:

Offer valid at participating locations in Maui through 8/31/04
...so it looks like they haven't decided to extend it or load new dates yet?

Wow, lucky you. I just saw one today for the first time. It looks funny with the top up but pretty cool with the top down.
Kind of agree. Here's a couple of shots top-up/top-down.

With the top down (and ignoring the roll bar) it kinda reminded me of those WWII cars you'd see Nazi brass driving around in.

deeman...6T still not showing for your dates in September, but the rate without the code seems to be only $216 on the web site. That's only $28 more and a pretty good regular price for a convertible, IMHO.

Rate Codes Not Working?

hello --

i have been trying to get a good rate on alamo using a bunch of rate codes (6T, 7S, 5K, BY), essentially all i could find online, to no effect. i always get the message:

"The Product Rate Code you requested is not applicable for this reservation. The rates shown are the best rates for your reservation parameters"

does anybody else have the same problem? i am looking at the dates 10/2 - 10/17.

any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance.

Yeah, the termination of the 6T code is really bumming me out. I called up Alamo and they said that the 6T code is indeed no longer valid. Plus I am having the same trouble as the last two posters in that I cannot find a new rate code that the website will accept for a convertible.

This really bites. I'll be in Hawaii from Nov. 10th to Nov. 21st and with the 6T rate code I was saving over $220 from their current "lowest" available rate. Problem is I don't see another Rental company with any lower offers either!

Any help or new rate codes would be much appreciated.
