That is super strange

It may require certification, but that is only with the ingredients. As far as I am aware, they have no problem with cooking halal food in non-halal pots, for example.

If flight is from Belgium it will almost definitely be his fresh (or maybe frozen) meals, not long-life. These are quite acceptable, I have been quite pleased with them.

Unfortunately, I've had quite a few Stogel long life meals, but never a fresh or frozen meal.

Hermolis meals can be good, but I've had my share of not so great meals from them including the super fishy smelling salmon and the egg mystery dish for breakfast.

I've found Borenstein meals to be pretty good on premium AA cabins (much better than KA).

Anyone know what DL serves ex-CDG and ex-EWR in C+? (I presume Regal ex-EWR, but want to confirm and also curious if the meal is "upgraded" at all the way the regular one is in C+)

Isn't that LY's in-house caterer?

Indeed, it is.

Not mehadrin, so most foreign airlines prefer to take Hamasbia, which will make more clients happy. They can't mess about with 2 levels of kosher food.
