17 500 miles but only in C. Anyone found some "good deals" in F?

After transferring miles among 3 accounts, I found out 50,000 is also the limit of incoming base miles, i.e, the 100% bonus miles don't count toward the limit. Actually the de facto incoming limit is 49,000 instead of 50,000. It is probably because Lifemiles has programmed the condition to be incoming_miles < 50000, instead of <=50,000.

For those who has paid the transaction fee, can you please check whether the purchase is categorized as air travel? Is it an international transaction?

I tried to book a TATL flight with an overnight stop in ZRH (<24H), but the system does not understand it. Other alternative is too leave at 5am and have 2 very tight connections, so I would rather leave the night before. ANA usually shows this as a normal connection. I tried multi-city, but Avianca tries to charge me separately. Any idea how to avoid calling them?
The online system will not necessarily give you all the flight options, only the most direct/practical/cheapest etc.
Let us know how you get on with the call centre - apparently there is a 'live chat' option on their call centre too.

Has anyone figured out how to book relatively complicated trip that was not provided by the website? I assume I need to call but what number? Thanks.

Did you all use different credit cards when use the share-promo or it is also possible to use the same for two different accounts?

I used the same card throughout. There's a space for you to enter your name and billing address, and naturally, this can be different from the account holder's name.

I called Avianca at 8002842622 to book a ticket. Even if I asked to speak to English-speaking agents and they did seem to speak English, they could not COMMUNICATE in English. Their trick is to use "bad connection" as an excuse and then asked you call back. The only agent who was able to communicate in English could not get my pin validated on the phone, which was a must if a ticket is booked over the phone. I have officially given up till I see at least one successful case of booking a ticket over the phone...BTW, the connection indeed did not sound very good to me
I am talking an agent from TACA who speaks English very well, hopefully I will be able to book the ticket with him.
