Hotel Vintage Portland: Offered free night of valet parking (already included in our rate) or $25 food credit (already included in our rate). Then FD asked if we liked wine or beer, and we said beer. Two big bottles with a champagne ice bucket (with ice!), and two bowls of bar snacks, arrived at or door.

Secret Password - Journeyman & SD Palomar

I was at the SD Palomar first weekend of January. Got a small mason jar filled with cocoa and marshmallows, plus a little Baileys, with instructions for using hot water or milk. Pretty cool and unique.

At Journeyman, stayed using IC free night. They brought out a basket where you could pick from many wrapped boxes.

It turned out to be a little keychain with a ruler on it. My 2-year old daughter unwrapped it and we brought it home for my 5-year old son. He thought it was cool.

Baltimore - Hotel Monaco

Guy at front desk offered me the gamut. I took the $25 food credit, but he also offered free valet parking, wine or champagne. Hotel overall has bent over backwards for me.

$25 bill credit (its normally a restaurant credit but that is currently under renovation). Takes care of most of the parking charge so I'm happy.

Good to know! I'm there for two weeks in March; so here's hoping that there's a new password out by then

Just received the below from Kimpton:

"Thanks for getting in touch; we're so excited to see you again!

We're sorry to say that the secret password recently went on spring break. However, a new password will come out hot and sizzling just in time for summer.

Good luck on your Inner Circle journey!'

Since I have five stays already booked in March, I thought I would ask, but there we have it: nothing planned until summer

I asked in Miami, and the front desk said 'summer' which I take to mean post-Memorial day. I thought I recall last summer's was in June.

I spent two weeks at the Monaco in Baltimore; the suite was spacious, but the hotel could really use some work.
