DO NOT CALL THE AIRLINE

Availability

From: FCO/MXP, BCN/MAD, OTP, MLA, IST (although I couldn't get the OTP origin to ticket)

Via: SIN/PEK

To: SEA/PDX/SLC/LAX/ATL/EWR/JFK/SJU (probably others)

Routing: AUH between Europe and Asia. NRT (and optionally HNL) between Asia and North America.

Interesting options: Some city combinations will book into T fares on AZ for a few dollars more, which will earn 100% on Flying Blue. AS has confirmed booking date will not be taken into consideration for mileage credit. DL V fare will earn 50% for 2015 travel. AS metal may be available on HNL-North America segments (if you choose to route via HNL).

Booking Engines: Orbitz, Priceline and others. Depending on the flights, Google Flights and Hipmunk are not showing these fares.

And remember, DO NOT CALL THE AIRLINE

I tried picking seats it said I can do it 24hrs after booking, didnt have that problem last night, picked my seats right away

I already booked one last night and need to cancel that one in 45 mins

My new ticket is vce-sin-atl-ric for $530 compare to old booking of
vce-sin-atl for $515
As soon as you have used a OTA to book your tickets you will recieve confirmation numbers and can then likely search on the airline website and find your itinerary. If you cannot select seats there is a good chance you do not have ticket numbers yet. Wait until it actually is ticketed and you can then select seats.
Not that you would do so, but if someone thinks that calling will give you an advantage getting seats before it is ticketed your wrong. The agent you call will merely say it has not ticketed yet and also will not be able to select seats either. Calling may or may not increase the chances of a fare being noticed. The issue has never been proven, however an aware agent may communicate the anomaly to a supervisor who may also then escalate the unusual fare to the rates desk.

Seems like fare's just gone. Saw the $430 per person trip just a while ago on Priceline, now can't find it.

Nope still alive, I still see fares on Priceline for $393...price varies a bit depending on the dates and actual departure / destination.

Wish I can use it but I have no desire to go to SIN. If it were to HKG I'd jump on it since it'll just send me home. haha.

Noodlesz is partially right - I can't find fares for ex FCO or MXP south of 1K; but Priceline gives me around $500 ex IST though. April/May/June seems to have it, at least from a cursory check.

I'll see if there's more.

I just saw VCE-SIN, SIN-NRT-SEA May 26-31 on Priceline for $347. Orbitz is 500+ now for that itinerary.

I haven't been able to find any cheap rates earlier than April. What is the earliest anyone has seen?

If you consider $680 cheap ( ) - A check in mid-Jan for IST-SIN, SIN-JFK has it.

$535 if you're heading off early Feb.

EDIT: I'm getting $535 for IST-FCO-AUH-SIN//SIN-NRT-JFK departing 1 Dec/8 Dec. At least.

You already know what the big O is (hint - it's the one you listed that starts with "O" ).
