I hope Lowes doesn't exit anytime soon, their GC racks are replenished quickly and next door WM makes it easy for easy liquidation.

I was calling Fivebackgift because my residual 5% has not posted. The CSR confirmed that Staples formally exited the program on April 26. Any cards USED on or before April 26 at Staples, will receive the FB.

I received cashback today (4/29) for a purchase made on 4/27/2017 at Staples (in-store) using a Simon Visa 5% Back card.

If there was ever a time to be greedy, the CVS days were it. Road trips to kmart were pretty good too. It was a modern day California gold rush.

Combined with GCM discount on FBs was the best deal ever. Second close was the recent OD $100 MCs combined with Ink+.

Just curious but did using your passport allow you to circumvent the rolling $2k limit? That was such a ...... velocity limiter for me (and most)

Yup. It's a nice little hack. And of course, if you're with someone else then it's 8k a day. Fun times.

I'll spill the beans for what I did to circumvent the rolling limit at CVS. After already making my $2k purchase, then I would go to the next CVS and purchase 4 $295 (I'll explain below) VGCs, separate transactions since CVS doesn't swipe the driver's license for gift card purchase $300 or lower. The math for one visit works out like this:

1) $300 plus $3.95 fee for 1 Simon Five Back with 2% Fidelity = $2.13 Profit (I did this for ease of admin work, rather than buying $500 VGC).

2) Take the $300 VGC and go buy a $295 + $4.95 fee VGC at CVS = $10.05 Profit.

I'd buy 4 VGCs at a time so each visit made (($2.13 + $10.05)*4) $48.72 Profit.

I would do the $300 VGCs each day until I couldn't stand going into a CVS anymore or when I had to have dinner with my wife haha.

One unfortunate thing was I did this only in the month of January.

Yes, worked ok after first attempt where I gave my correct address. After that started using office address and was never asked again.
