DFW Precheck

Mobile BPs are not enabled yet as per LH.

The airport check-in at the counter is required to get the annotation on the BP.

Precheck lanes are only available near the D22 gates. This works out in any case since The Club lounge is near there.

Newark:
Had the impression that everyone travelling on LH received the TSA pre card at the passport check in Terminal B

Sfo has pre (pointless) on BP
Sea has not (so will get a UA mobile BP later)

Remember that you have to get the boarding pass from the desk. The mobile app and personally-printed ones don't show it. It's just text on the BP, too (no logo, etc.).

LH PreCheck fail.

Flying LAX-MUC tomorrow and I just checked in/printed my boarding pass at home. As noted above, despite my TTN in the system, no PreCheck on my boarding pass. And since there is no PreCheck at TBIT, it's pointless to stop at LH check-in. Is the PreCheck info in the bar code? I just bought a refundable AA ticket so I can be guaranteed PreCheck when I enter tomorrow at T4.

No precheck indication on self generated BPs. Mentioned a few times above?

fly regularly out of IAD - always have to go to the counter to get a BP - but then no issues.
Nothing on the mobile BP (as stated above)

Has anyone gotten automatically selected for TSAPRE when traveling on LH without KTN?

Indeed, I did reference the previous mention. What's the rationale for not including it on self-generated or mobile BPs? At the moment, there is no PreCheck at LAX TBIT so PreCheck is useless to LAX LH passengers unless you can access the PreCheck lanes at AA's adjacent T4. Not many pax are going to check-in at LH, then walk over to T4 just to walk back. Since I'm not checking bags, I figured that my best option was to buy a refundable AA ticket, use T4 PreCheck and then cancel my AA flight when I get to the LH Lounge.

Agree that it's not a big deal at an airport like IAD where PreCheck exists at adjacent security access points.

And that saves time? Its a 900ft walk:

It seems TSA is giving prefential treatment to pre check pax at TBIT/EWR/etc: you get a yellow card and keep your shoes on and laptop/liquids stay in your bag.

The TBIT security lines can be notoriously long even if there is a Premium Lane. The TSAPRE lane at T4 can be empty and the process is quick so that method is indeed time saving

I have no problem with a 900' walk and would rather walk than have to rely on a yellow card and a maybe PreCheck lite. Even with a PA escort, you still have to deal with lines of other non-PreCheck passengers unless the PA is ruthless and cuts everyone off to get you to the front of the conveyor. I'd just as soon take the relaxing T4 route. And I can usually park close enough to the T4 bridge that it's arguably faster and more convenient than LH check in/TBIT security, even with a PA.

Not to mention the good views inside the airside tunnel!

I am in an identical situation (UA ticket on LH metal, UA MP#, got boarding pass at airport).

But no precheck ... even thought I have TSA Pre via Global Entry

But since she did that she got no PRE on her BP. Hence my investigation and the press release I found linked in the OP.

Presumably eventually online and emailed BPs will get the designation too...?
