A. No.
- Q. If I book a stay using a cash and points rate, does that count as a "stay" towards my Into The Nights offers?
A. No.
- Q. Will stays booked via a consolidator (like TravelPony) or other public travel portal or points portal count towards this promo?
A. No. Your stays must be booked directly with IHG on their website or on their app. However, if you are booking through your corporate portal at work, this may post if such stays usually earn you base points.
- Q. How long will it take for my points to post?
A. Normally they post within a week or two.
- Q. How long after stay points post to my IHG account is it until my personal Into the Nights dashboard is updated showing progress in my offers?
A. The Tuesday after the stay points post to account. (edit: has been Thursday lately, November)
- Q. Where can I find the Bonus Point package with Breakfast rate?
A. Click here to book Bonus Points Package with (or without) Breakfast rate.
NOTE: Make sure that your email confirmation states something like this:

Otherwise you booked the wrong rate type. This type of rate also comes in a 1000 point version.

A. No
- Q. What are the conditions for the free nights being awarded?
A. Free nights must be redeemed by December 31st, 2015 and must be claimed by January 31st, 2015 or members will automatically be awarded applicable points. Free Nights can only be used in participating IHG hotels and may not be transferred. A Free Night is valid only for one standard room night rate and applicable taxes (not including breakfast). Redemption is subject to availability of the rooms of hotels specially provided for this promotion. The hotel rooms hotels specially provided for this promotion shall be determined at IHG’s discretion.
- Q.I chose the 2 free nights award, how do I book them?
A. Go to your My Account page on ihg.com (after logging in). On the left hand masthead you will see an option labeled "Free Night Status". The page will show how many free nights you have available and provides a way to book the nights. Note that it's a bit clumsy -- an initial search will show that the lowest price is Free, but until you click thru you won't know if it's really available for your preferred nights.
- Q. Can I trade the free nights?
A. Not on FlyerTalk. They are specifically designated non-transferable.

The terms do say Apply, not Use, and may be tracked based on applying using the ItN link.

Looks like my account was updated, but the "Download the IHG app" has yet to be marked as done.
I tried calling in but no luck. Has anyone found a way to mark it as done?

My dashboard still hasn't updated for the stay I checked out of on the 7th, but 6 bonus offers recently appeared (4 of them for 0 points). Have these been updating correctly for people?
Did anyone get bonus offer credit for stays completed before the bonus offers appeared, but that hadn't hit the dashboard yet?

When you click through it will work for IHG like what it does with us click through from a cash back website. IHG will get a fee for giving the CC provider a customer - this is why they want you to use their link and not one from the bank direct or a blogger etc. The information shared will be something like your IHG number and surname for matching purposes. If you are approved IHG will be paid but if you're not it will probably mean they aren't and they probably won't get any information on the failed applications which is where the fun begins as you will have to contact IHG to prove you have applied which I'm sure will be an easy straightforward process.
From what everyone has posted so far their points or tracking don't seem to appear until after their first statement which was why I said I thought they were likely using this or the CC issuer asking IHG to make you platinum in order to mark the task complete

This morning the original tasks are named 'tailored offer' and a new set of 6 tasks including 'booking with IHG, Add a review, Redeem for a digital or reward night award' and 'stay the last week' etc. are added under the name of 'bonus offer'.
The strange thing is that the tailored offer now require complete of 5 of the 12 offers to earn the points or /and free nights.
The 'bonus offer' comes with 20,000 bonus points and require me to complete 6 of the any offer (not sure if they mean the 6 new ones or any the 12). Out of the 6 new offers, only two will award extra points, and 4 of them gives 0 points.
I was very amazed and somewhat speechless. I actually completed all the original offers but the dashboard was not updated for a week until today. With the stay from the first week of December still not come in, I don't know if the wonderful IHG IT is in working again. But if they are giving me the 20,000 extra points any way I do welcome the surprise.

I used their customer retention email after shaming them on FB and Twitter. I posted this previously, but it will be easier repost the email address here:

It was only after I sent messages via Social Media that they actually responded. SocMedia or CRT will hopefully put you in touch with a manager who can take care of this.....it took a few correspondences before it happened, but hopefully they are just awarding them given the promotional catastrophe they have created!

No luck in getting the Offer marked as completed (to this day mine is still incomplete), but I was (after many attempts) able to a) get the point credit and b) select (over the phone) whether I wanted the bonus points or free nights.
I used their customer retention email after shaming them on FB and Twitter. I posted this previously, but it will be easier repost the email address here:

Any way to fix this? One of my tasks was to stay two Saturday nights. I have a real stay booked for next weekend, and then there are no more Saturdays in the promotion. Last night I had a prepaid reservation at a HI near my neighborhood...which I forgot about until just now. I called the hotel and they said it's too late to check in for last night. Any way to get IHG to count this as a stay?
