For the BOOK DIRECT condition,
is it applicable for booking on www.ihg.com ?
Or do I need to go to the specific hotel website to book or use the mobile app?

The one that most peope seem to have is Book With Us, and for that, you can use any official IHG website.
(If you have something other than Book With Us, what does it say exactly?)

Does anyone have a trick for bulk-searching single-night stays in an area? I just need the cheapest night(s) I can get a hotel in DC. I can do the Saturday nights easily enough, because there aren't many of them, but I'd love a way to see the price per night for a whole month at a time.

Have just done my first stay since registering which should have got me 1000 points right?
It's posted on my account as a qualifying stay and triggered a lot of bonus codes but nothing for the big win promotion. Is that right?
