Had a std award stay for 40K pts. Under my acct recent activity under the column "Points Earned" it shows -40K. However if I expand the stay details I see there is 500 pts bonus in the Amex Co Brand bonus and 250 bonus for My Way (Diamond at Hampton). Can someone confirm I actually got these points?
Sort of confusing how HH is doing this.

when did HH Gold lose the benefit of free breakfast?? Just booked 2 stays and see that it is no longer a benefit. At this point, it looks like the bottled water will be all they will give us for our stay.

It's still a benefit at certain hotel brands, as it has been for a while. See http://m.hilton.com/hhonors/en/explo...ex.html#banner. There's also a sticky thread in this forum listing the type of breakfast offered at individual properties.

I believe so, although I never actually tries to calculate it. Without a running balance, I can't figure out exactly how many points I got. I tried to keep an excel spreadsheet with running balance at one point but gave up on it after a few months. I think it is really sly that Hilton's site doesn't give you that info so a chunk points went missing you won't know it.

I think there are services like Award Wallet that will do it for you, but I just don't want to give my password to anybody.

Breakfast
I'm sure this is on the forum somewhere so apologies but I have tried to look.
I am doing my first standard room redemption as a diamond member. Do I get all the diamond benefits with a standard redemption? Specifically breakfast.
Many thanks.

Where complimentary breakfast is offered, various hotels handle the benefit in different ways. For a compendium of FT data points, see http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/hilto...er-thread.html.

I have a question on elite benefits on award stays.
I am Gold, family member is Silver. I am traveling, family member is NOT traveling. I do not have enough points. If the family member books the award for my stay, do I get Gold or Silver benefit? TIA.

IIRC, it is the status of the person who is present, not that of the gifting party, that matters under Hilton's policies.
