One additional A388 frame was needed for the planned capacity upgauges to KUL and SIN during September:

01 - 07 September EK342/343 KUL second daily A388
08 - 21 September EK354/355 SIN

Melbourne starts on October 01 and before that one more A388 will be delivered.

was on A6-EGV yesterday LHR-DXB in J and the new remotes- all touchscreen and the thinner sleeker control panel- wireless- is also great. Maybe discussed elsewhere-- but did not know about these new updates.

Also the Seats were a lot more comfortable that the original "new" biz.

A6-EGP onwards have the new system - bigger screens as well from what I remember reading. It was discussed on here a while back.

I was on A6-EGT a couple of days ago and I was also impressed with the changes.

Soon, the #24 A380 (A6-EDX) to be delivered sometime on September 7 or 8. I'll find out when they will delivered the #24 A380. I will let you know when.

From the 777 line, both A6-EGX (line 1037) and A6-EGY (line 1039) are up for imminent delivery, while the next EK frame will be line 1044, and is about to roll out.

To be retired next:

A343 A6-ERR in September
A332 A6-EKZ in September
A343 A6-ERQ in October
A332 A6-EAA in December
