UAE/EK725 to Dar Es Salaam (DAR) was observed holding near positions LADMO and IVALA for a good 20mins, indicating an issue with A6-ERB (A345).

The aircraft has now returned back to DXB.

An amended arrival time of 18:30 EAT has been set for UAE/EK725.

Has A6-EBV had a refit? According to the seating thread, its a 2 class old style recliner layout, but according to the EK website todays EK40 BHX-DXB is lie flats but the aircraft operating it is A6-EBV.

As far as I'm aware, A6-EBV is still configured with the older J product.

I wouldn't trust the information found on EK's website.

Take EK843 (DXB-DOH) today for example:

Scheduled: B773
EK Website: B77W
Actual: B77L

It's the luck of the draw really.

The tone is getting better regarding the wing crack issue.

Expect some interesting news at either Farnborough, or ILA Berlin.
