I had a return flight in EK F last year, it was amazing. Nice cabin, great service, amazing suite... So why go to the effort or cost of going upfront, to then go back?
Hmmm. Mate why go back???

If you are flying F & paying for it and still going back to the J Bar then you need to seriously reconsider flying F at all.

Might sound stupid actually but having done more than 135 sectors in F on the A380 in EK I have only been to the J Bar 4 or 5 times at the most.

And crazy it may sound it was always out of YYZ that I ended up in bar. Blame it on the????

Sorry once out of HKG also on EK381. Had 11 people in J & F along with me to argue & debate with. My E-Gate failed in DXB as I could not get it working

Was a flight which I still remeber for all the wrong reasons.

Looking forward to First all the way from GLA on future flights ;-)
Can you please elaborate on this? What does less window mean? 1 less window than the other seats or just smaller?

Are 1A/K narrower because of the fuselage?

Does the curtain mean that the light from behind it shines into the seat?

Out of curiosity, how many people here have brought another person into the shower? After all, there is a stated 2 person max limit - so I assumed it's encouraged

It's not, unfortunately. The 2 person limit is only for "Mother & Child."

Yes, especially as it starts to curve inwards going to the nose of the airplane.

No, the typical fallout of this is that you are staring into the bum of the FAs or pax standing at the bar, every time you look out of your suite...

Thank you for your response. I'll pick 2A. Any trips/advice to make the most of the experience? I'm used to flying QF/BA/EY F an am excited to try EK finally!

Don't have too high expectations and you'll be fine. Enjoy your trip!

I'm assuming the best seats for two people wishing to interact would be in the middle. Are 1EF affected by the narrowing of the fuselage? Any additional room in row 1 - passengers each over 2 meters tall?

I've sat in 1ef and 2ef and there is no difference in size I've noticed. Only row 1 a or k has and space reduction.
