I didn't get photos (very greasy fingers ), but yesterday's barbecue featured beef ribs, pork ribs, brats, mac and cheese, potato salad, and very cold beer. ^

I had a poached egg over firm polenta for breakfast today. The poached egg turned out pretty good, but the polenta definitely could use improvement. (I'm thinking frying pan next time instead of trying to use the toaster oven.)

That sounds pretty good, maybe a creamy red pepper sauce on top. I agree that the polenta would improve with sautéing.
