Programs: Now just a lowly DL PM/1MM. This industry needs some competition. It's just not enjoyable anymore.

You literally don't know if you have time for a flight between now and the end of the year???

As a matter of fact, the OP needs 311.

Also, please do not forget about this thread:
A Challenge: The Least-Expensive Way to Get The Most Medallion Qualification Miles?
That is where the other shy-of-status threads were originally merged.
I am thinking about merging these two threads together, as they really are the same topic...

167 miles short of PM. I have one flight booked on the 12/17 but I have a very strong suspicion work is going to make me cancel it. Hell $150.00 change fee for a $200 flight. I will probably have to figure something out.

100 MQM short because of segmentation. What now?
I am in a bad situation. I did my two mileage runs so far and got one more for tomorrow. I have 44446 MQM now and flying NW tomorrow from TPA-SFO-TPA. Problem is, NW is showing TPA-SFO as TPA-MSP-SFO with two segments, but same flight number (even though two different seat configs and gate numbers at MSP). And DL is seeing it as TPA-SFO. SFO-TPA is shown as SFO-DTW-TPA for both systems. Result is I get 5455 MQM for TPA-SFO-DTW-TPA instead of 5957 MQM as I expected initially, and get stuck at 49900 MQM for the year, instead of 50235 MQM.
Customer Service:
NW: See it as two segments, ask DL
DL: One segment, see what NW says
NW: Can't do anything. You can try to change ticket for TPA-ATL-SFO for $160 (Already spent $600 on MRs this year and broke)
DL: We did soft landing for people before, can't gurantee.
My flight is 2:05PM tomorrow. What do I do?

If you can, I would try to Same Day Confirm to different flights.

I don't know the NW rules well enough. Can you change it on the day of the flight for free? I wouldn't risk it.

Can you get yourself to the airport way early tomorrow? There is a 7:31am connecting flight through MSP that appears to have plenty of availability.
If you log on to the itinerary at 4:31 a.m. you should be able to change your flight - either for free or possibly for not too much $$.
Good luck - this is quite annoying - the "same flight number" thing - but it happens on other airlines too.
You can do this on the NW web site and find out how much it is before deciding.
