sorry to deliver disappointing news, but DL considers LAX-HNL to be domestic F for service and amenities: you will get the nice lie-flat seats, but otherwise none of the trappings of D1 (Tumi kit, sparkling wine as pre-departure beverage, Westin pillow/blanket) and no access to the D1 "lounge" in T5
Do you use wifi? Is it working for Hawaii flight?

Mike, you might want to get your reading glasses prescription checked ... they're booked on a 763, not a 753

Shorter track but you can run laps, and I don't mind being blind.

Leaving tomorrow for a month in beautiful Montgomery, AL. I made grilled ribeye, baked sweet potatoes, and salad served with a local Tempranillo (from a winery where we are wine club members) for my last night in town. Mrs. P fell asleep on the couch after said meal, so I'm drinking bourbon and finishing packing (i.e. playing on FT).

Just finished watching Tesla's gigafactory stream. Love everything about the company. The stream however? Not so much.

How on earth could they, a california based company that makes electric cars, have such a choppy livestream my god.

Well, the plant is in Nevada, but still. It's as if they were to stream it from an old plane with ATG1, my god.

Once again leaving or MCO again this weekend. Lot's more travelling in recent months

So I went to the PBR last weekend and the guy in front of me was watching porn on his phone.

Brought a new meaning to ride'em cowboy.

On my way home after last nights CVG-BOS delay/cancellation disaster. Fingers crossed that my LGA-BOS connection isn't delayed. I hate getting home midday Saturday instead of Friday night...makes me hate my Monday flights even more

Oh, and the way BMW is heading, Tesla might have to be my next car (after my e46 M3 outlives itself. Though at 24k miles, it's got a lot of life left). I am traveling so much that the tires are literally rotting off my cars from lack of use. Boo.

LOL! And I still think of Pabst Blue Ribbon when you say PBR.

I used to have a regular trip to LV the first week in December for a combination of friend's birthday plus an end-of-year casino promotion weekend plus (some years, back when I still played) poker tournament series. This always coincided with NFR, so fairly predictably I'd get in the cab/limo at McCarran and be greeted with some variation of "guessing you're not here for the rodeo"

I admit I grinned a bit trying to remember/imagine what they actually use for the "National F-ing Rodeo"

Found the brand of pimento cheese that the ATL SCs have. Currently in heaven. #PimentoGrilledCheese

ugh, Maxwell/Gunter in August -- you have my sympathies Matt -- I had a couple of two- and three-day summer TDYs there during my two years in HQ USAF Contracting, and that was more than enough

Interesting. I had an amazing grilled cheese sandwich last night, at 2 AM, at the PHL Hotel Palomar. Yes, so there may have been some alcohol-fueled motivation to it, but it was yummy!
