It also seems low level can only be gotten on partners via China or ICN. Haven't seen a DL metal low award in quite awhile.

Wow. Glad I snagged my 160k tickets last month! Though I'm guessing this effectively means no more itinerary tweaking for me without coughing up an extra 30k RDM...

Has anyone discovered the new floor for USA-SIN? I would assume also 80k in J as it's usually be in the same 'Zone' as Japan?

Yes, it's 80k. And it seems this pricing is actually in effect for October 1, 2016 and onward. Flights before then are still at the old levels.

Domestic + Transcon seem unchanged. Hawaii seems unchanged. Europe seems unchanged. India seems unchanged. Caribbean seems unchanged. Northern South America seems unchanged. Southern South America seems to have jumped from 62.5k each way to 75k for Low/Level 1.

As noted, does not go into effect until Oct. 1. 45K for coach is a reduction from the current 50K.

Note this is the Southwest Pacific Zone (not just Australia) --

American Samoa, Australia, Christmas Islands, Cocos (Keeling) Islands, Cook Islands, Fiji, French Polynesia, Kiribati, Nauru, New Caledonia, New Zealand, Niue, Norfolk Island, Pitcairn Islands, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tokelau, Tonga, Tuvalu, Vanuatu and Wallis and Futuna Islands

How do you know it is low-level that has changed, and not just that low-level has disappeared and the level you are quoting are mid-level levels?

So the response to AA is to increase the award price?

Not all is unchanged.
What used to be 35K one way for O until not long ago is now 60K (until Oct 1, 2016 was already a staggering 50K): Hawaii to Asia is now indeed an unbelievably high 60K in low (which practically never exists on DL flights anyway as of Jan 1, 2016 massive and permanent inventory/availability reduction), for just short 6 hour flights (but again, not like any DL or KE flights are ever even available at that).
