Following the success of the Bollinger GA 1999 thread in 2008, I thought the subject deserved a fresh start for the new year. This thread is dedicated to the discussion of Champagne (and Wine) served on board BA and in the lounges worldwide.
Current champagne offerings for the most frequented locations:
First cabin Pol Roger 1999/Bollinger GA 1999 LHR CCR Pol Roger 1999, Lanson Noble Cuvee Rose, Bollinger GA 1999/2000 LHR/LGW F Lounge Pol Roger 1999, Lanson Noble Cuvee Rose, Bollinger GA 1999 Club World Piper Heidsieck Monopole, Cattier NV LHR/LGW Galleries/Terraces ??? Club Europe Pommery NV
I'll try and keep this as up to date as possible.

Reason: Update
I also indulged in rather a lot of claret in F on LHR-MEX two weeks back, though 1996 Chateau Leoville Poyferre - very good. Attacked the 1999 Pol Roger in the CCR as well!

Thanks Swanhunter, will take note, and see if any new ones, or even old ones appear. That Piper XXXXXXXXX is hard to spell, even without having a drink, so will allow you that error.

The Langoa -Barton is very toothsome. Personally, I think rose should be an additional option to 3 each of red and white (ie classic French, rest of Europe and new world). The Chivite is very pleasant but not a patch on the Trock I enjoyed several times last year. And I seem to remember a heavenly Anjou blanc that seems to have vanished.
