2016 POUG rate tracker

POUGs are offered via BA.com and the App Manage My Booking via a distinctive banner (example from MMB below). You cannot get a POUG by telephoning, however the service centres can complete a POUG which falls over mid transaction. They are offered on cash and Avios redemptions but typically not on complex routings, BA Holidays or travel agency bookings until OLCI stage. POUGs on Avios redemptions won't get you additional TPs/Avios, but they will on revenue tickets.

Short haul routes from LON to/from Europe
A price in pounds indicates a ticket issued from London, other currencies indicate prices for tickets issued overseas (e.g. singles or returns originating from CDG priced in Euros). Multiple prices indicate a range of fares are on offer. Note that LCY prices currently seem to be on a different basis to LGW and LHR (cheaper, in other words).

POUGs are offered on JER and other locations in the Sterling area, just not on shorthauls. The booking needs to be on BA.com, only BA metal and only there and back, or a single way ticket, not open jawed, and not amended after first booking. It gets the usual POUG banner via MMB. I've been offered a POUG out of JER quite recently. However this case is on the new LGW-JFK service, and POUGs tend not to be offered on new routes. You can still upgrade your ticket for cash - that may be visible online or may require a telephone call. You would need to book via BA.com too. Or you can perhaps AUP at LGW, which has to be done landside unfortunately.

LHR-IAD WT-WTP £153 - took it. Day before Thanksgiving this November. Already in WTP on IAD-LHR as it was £120 difference from very cheap Y (~400 quid roundtrip)
