Looked at and they were AA, miles more expensive. I'm quite comfortable with the cost TBH, probably earn enough TP's to leave me just short of silver

Am I hallucinating, or did I read in one of these threads that *A was matching these F fares ex-DUB?
With mountains of Avios and GUFs laying around, I wouldn't buy them with cash on BA, but Lufty F at £2K sounds pretty appealing.

The DUB to US fare ( ILN7S4Z1 / ALN7S4Z1 ) is valid for the following dates for the first international sector:
22NOV15 through 29NOV15 OR
11DEC15 through 08JAN16 OR
12FEB16 through 21FEB16
IJN7S4Z1/AJN7S4Z1 is only slightly more expensive, and covers 19MAR16-19APR16, 27MAY16-04JUN16, and 01JUL16-03SEP16 for the outbound international segment.
Reservations must be made on/before 17NOV15
Two transfers are permitted each direction, but no stopovers.
Rules are consistent with the typical ex-DUB fares, though only a 7-day advance purchase is required (though given the expiration date, that's only true for two days of the availability).

I guess for the c. £100 difference, DUB might still be better.

dylanks, that's extremely useful info ^
Sadly that slightly screws our plan for an ex-DUB involving a week in PHX and a week in ANC in June/July ... may have to make 2 separate trips
Book by 17 Nov requires some decision-making soon!!

Keep in mind there are other promotions via CPH and other ex-EU that are not that much more expensive for CW, and have July 1 through sometime in September as available dates. It just looks like they're being less aggressive with DUB because of the EI acquisition.

No worries about being warm/hot/HOT, I assure you. Anything over 30ºC is OK! Just wanted to combine PHX with ANC when the latter isn't Arctic

Think more like 40 degrees in June in PHX ( plus wear pool shoes as even walking from the pool deck chairs to the pool is painful on hot concrete and also do not touch the metal pool ladders unless they have been splashed with water!
Enjoy!

First Class DUB-LAS From $2,651 (£1,760/€2,410) RT
Couldn't see this anywhere so apologies if I've missed it.
Looks like BA has a pretty decent First Class fare between DUB and LAS (via LHR) for Summer (as well as a few dates in March/April).
Found the fare using ITA Matrix (so you should be able to replicate results there)
Prices: From $2,651 (£1,760/€2,410)
Main travel dates are:
19 March – 18 April 2016
27 May – 4 June 2016
1 July – 3 September 2016
Book by 17 November
Just about all trip lengths that people will be interested in are available.
I've posted sceenshots from ITA Matrix on the blog here for anyone who'd rather not do the search themselves.
Be careful when using Matrix: Make sure you uncheck the "allow airport changes" box or Matrix will offer you an very annoying Heathrow/Gatwick airport change (which is completely unnecessary).
