The latest version (2010) of the First cabin (termed "Prime" internally by British Airways, or "New First") is available on all 4-class 777s and all 747s.

An newer evolution (2013) of the First seat (Prime+) is found on all A380s, and a newer version still (2015) is available on all 787-9s.

The older version of the First cabin (termed "Classic" internally by British Airways, or "Old First") has now been withdrawn.

747 information updated to 31 March 2016. Last change: withdrawal of G-BNLF, the last OF aircraft

Youfirst had told me that it was going be OF.
FYI, seat map had no closet and had cot @ row 5
Congrats! I'm still hopeful myself but OF will be just as special for the 2 mum in laws.

Looking at award booking F JFK-LHR-DEL. Some flights from LHR-DEL are on a 777 and some are on a 747. Which has the better chance of being NF?

Thanks

I am on BA284 next Wednesday May 4th. Yesterday evening the seat map still showed the wardrobe in front, galley and toilets in the back. Seat 1A had a small rectangle over it.

This morning (9:20am PDT) the seats map had changed, 1A/K was available. No wardrobe, galley or toilets nor the rectangle over the 1A seat. This was more than 72 hours before the flight and guess where me and the misses are now sitting.

Do they hold any seats on the 777's for gold. that open up at t-72? and if they do which ones should I grab for my wife and I 1A 1E or 1F 1K

Also I know that people have talked about the different changes on the seat maps that show that a plane has NF. Is there one post that list all the possible configurations that may suggest NF.

I have my flight from PHL in just over a week and either way I am looking forward to the trip. Have just over 2 hours between flights going over in the CCR and coming back we are staying at one of the local hotels at LHR before a 1pm flight so we will enjoy it more on the return

Hi

We are flying from Las Vegas to Heathrow on Weds 22nd June and are travelling in First, can anyone please tell me if this flight has been fitted with NF or is it still old First?. The fight number is BA0274 (no doubt people who would know the answer would know the flight number for this journey).

If you email YouFirst a few days before your flight they will be able to tell you, until then nobody will know for certain.

I can't tell you what will happen in June, but if you look here http://ftdashboard.net/overview/baflights.htm and here http://ftdashboard.net/dest/las.htm, it shows that (so far) all of the flights between LAS and LHR have been in planes with Old First.

yes, but it switches to a 744 from 1 June, so NF will be making an appearance from time to time.

All of those AC in fact are 3-class 772's - so no hope for new or even old F there. With a 747 it would most likely be a mid-J and when G-BNLU gets re-outfitted at CWL there will be about a 30% chance of getting NF on a mid-J 744.

Asked above I know but does anyone know why 744 refits have slowed down so much over recent months?

Looking good if you are on a long-LH 772 (SIN, SYD, PVK) as the odds when the last one is done become 100%

According to my seating plans i thought we were flying on a 747-436, as we have already been informed of a change of airplane as originally it was a 777 that we were flying on but this was switched as from the 1st June as you have mentioned.
