I just got it too. Did you do a lot of year end travel? I flew every weekend from Thanksgiving until New Years--only 16k miles but a lot more frequent activity than the previous 10 months.Originally Posted by ProfessAW

The upgrades are AMAZING!! 10 of them!
Fiance and I are in the same household...I flew a ton at the end of the year, she didn't fly at all
I got this too (for GLD). Ironically, I just signed up yesterday for the PLAT challenge which I should fulfill in the next month or so with planned travel. I also signed up for this since it comes with 10 upgrades which are valuable.
I just hope it does not cancel out my PLAT challenge! We'll see. I have confirmation of both so hoping it works OK. Says it takes 7-10 days to reflect changes in account. I welcome the GLD opportunity, although my upcoming travel is already booked in a premium cabin.
It works to AA's advantage as I am actually planning to shift my business from DL to AA this year. I am tired of DL's bad redemption rates (particularly for international flights). Since most of my travels require a connection anyway (either on DL or AA), and some are LAX-JFK, there isn't much difference in my preference otherwise.

Anyone willing to provide a link that you're supposed to click on if it's not personalized?

I had a question about qualifying for status after May 31st. Is it 6000 miles earned with or without elite bonus? I'm assuming it's base miles but I just wanted to be sure.Originally Posted by ProfessAW

It is probably targeted so you won't get it but you can go to aa.com, click on AAdvantage, then bonus offers. Sign in and put in the code

No link, just a link to the promo code landing page (https://www.aa.com/AAdvantage/viewBonusOffers.do) with a promo code to enter. No confirmation on the page of the offer specifics or anything else.Originally Posted by spankytoes
