Sounds about as good as my SPG gold card. Sometimes it gets me "stuff," sometimes not.

Oh, well. I guess you get what you "pay" for.

Thanks for this! Signed up and attached it to my res for last weekend in Philadelphia and was offered all the gold perks (declined upgrade because was only for 1 of 2 nights). I even managed to get them to give me free breakfast instead of the drink voucher.

Got the e-mail telling me now Gold, booked nights at two seperate hotels, and rang them re: gold benefits. So looking forward to see if I get them, especialy room upgrade and late check out. One hotel could only give a check out of 1pm, instead of the 4pm, still better then 11am.

Just signed up using the code and got gold status. I will stay at the Sofitel Paris in June, will let you guys know how it worked out after.

Novotel doesn't give upgrades - not even to plats. Only Sofitel and Pullman.
