Not for me. Tried to get the points from my spouces card (silver) to my new Gold card, but was told this was not possible!
Do you have to have the same name on the card? If so could we open a new account in her name and then get the points moved over to the new Gold Card?

Just made my reservation as a Gold at the Sofitel Munich.
Due to the 5-day availability guarantee, the system found a "Classic Room" which was priced about 30EUR lower than the "Superior Room" usually visable online.^
Plus, the availability guarantee rate is felxible up to 18:00 on the day of arrival. So, any of you that have vouchers can apply them to this rate.
So, far I am pretty happy with this Gold status!

I have contacted Accor loyalty's program for more information, and their answer is that the promotional code you gave us is dedicated to special members who are belonging to a partnership program between Accor and one of its partners.
Therefore, our accounts created with this code will be deleted when they will link the databases.

Of course this was a promo for specific customers but things like that get used here all the time. Luckily I had not signed up but was still toying with the idea.
