Got the latest code for Gold but with zero points...not sure I'll get anything from the hotels 
I'm guessing they can see the number of points you have when you present the card, will they actually give an upgrade with zero points?

Sorry if this was covered elsewhere in the 9-page thread, but if you have already joined A-Club, is there anyway to use these promotions to gain status or is it only valid for new members?
