PamAm Mileage Help!!!

PamAm Mileage Help!!!
Okay gang...trying to help out my mother-in-law (and earn a few more "son-in-law-brownie-points!!!) 
She has almost 13,000 miles sitting in an old PamAm account...don't know if they are even still valid in any way because I have not seen the mileage statement, but...
Since PanAm is no longer with us, could/did these miles by any chance move over into some other frequent flyer program, or are they really just LOST miles?
Any help in uncovering the answer would be greatly appreciated!!!

These points were moved into a Delta account (but are not SkyMiles) and will never expire.
You can either redeem them under the old ff chart or take at least one flight on DL and those points will be converted to DL SkyMiles.

Funny to see this post. I'm taking off this weekend to CDG with the family for a week in Paris, using miles that have been in my DL account since the PanAm/Delta deal. I got the PanAm account from my first trip on the Pan Am Shuttle back in 1987. 200,000 miles without elite status means a lot of time on the tarmac at LGA!
