Okay gang...trying to help out my mother-in-law (and earn a few more "son-in-law-brownie-points!!!)

She has almost 13,000 miles sitting in an old PamAm account...don't know if they are even still valid in any way because I have not seen the mileage statement, but...

Since PanAm is no longer with us, could/did these miles by any chance move over into some other frequent flyer program, or are they really just LOST miles?

Any help in uncovering the answer would be greatly appreciated!!!
