wyndham status match not-available
Just found out about Wyndam status match, and I am trying to match marriott. However on their status match page it says currently unavailable. Specifically:
Please note: New status matches are not being offered at this time. Check back soon to see when status match will become available again.
Anyone know how long it's been like this/if this is just a covid thing or when it will resume? Hoping this will be available soon

It's back. Not a long-term match unless you meet stay requirements after you match.

It's kind of funny how Marriott Gold (25 nights, easily obtainable via CC) matches to Diamond and Hyatt Explorist (30 nights, not easily obtainable other than MGM match) matches to Platinum.

Well, to be fair, Explorist is easy to obtain IF you Vegas often. Doesn't Hyatt offer a card with 5 qualifying nights to jump start that process?

Meanwhile Marriott offers a card with 25 qualifying nights to jump start the process that gives you free Platinum
Plus you can get another card with another 15 qualifying nights to jump start the process
