Wyndham Bali Hai Villas, Kauai
I am best man in a wedding in/around Princevill, Kauai, HI next June. Interested in this resort.
1. My preference would be for a timeshare exchange (through DAE where my weeks are deposited). How likely/common is it for exchange weeks to be available at this resort in June?
2. My next preference is to exchange my HHpoints (GLON or similar award) for a Wyndham award at this property. I know coupon connection is the place - is this likely?
3. My last preference would be for a rental - are there other places outside of the resort site where I can find these? Anyone on here own a week they would like to exchange or rent? Looking for week (around) 19 June - 26 June 2014.
Thanks

I don't know much about timeshare exchanges...not a timeshare owner.
However, I stayed there last Feb/March. I was able to get a reservation through "Just Go Away Travel". Here is a link to their facebook site.
I was pleased with the resort, also super pleased with the service and price Just Go Away Travel found for me. My guess is that they used a timeshare exchange, so you may have luck exchanging your own points.

I purchased Wyndham points through the recent American Express Getaways.
Then redeemed points for the Wyndham Koloa Landing in Poipu (other side of the island).
http://www.wyndham.com/hotels/hawaii...hotel-overview
Effective cost per night is $174 for a two bedroom villa.
But key point for me is that I will not stay in any property that gets below 4 points at Tripadvisor.com (Wyndham Koloa Landing gets 4.5).
