Updates to WestJet's Baggage and Check-In Seat Selection Fee Policies
As per a news release today, WestJet are adjusting some bag and seat fees next month.
The most interesting to me is the decision to start charging for preferred and exit row seats during check-in, except when they're the only seats available.
I note that the travel agent update clarifies that "WestJet Rewards Platinum and Delta top tier members will not pay for seat selection", which is in-line with their current unlimited seat selection benefit.
