Converting RBC Reward points to Westjet Dollars

I noticed this promotion tonight while contemplating dumping my Esso Extra into my RBC Rewards account and then on to BA EC but as there's no BA conversion bonus at the moment and given their sky high taxes & surcharges on awards I'd thought about dumping everything into my WestJet Rewards account instead.
Have any others done this conversion and how long does it generally take? The bonus makes the conversion attractive as I can always use WS Dollars for short one way tickets or now they fly to LGW maybe a trip to UK in next few years. Any input appreciated.

This promo runs a few times a year. I've never converted myself, but I've been told by RBC that it could take up to a month before seeing it posted on your WS account. Seems like a long time imo.

Thanks and while that long of a transfer isn't ideal I'm not transferring them for anything in particular and am in no rush.

The standard RBC Rewards email states some silly length like 4 - 6 weeks, but in my recent experience it was next day.

Well the current 25% bonus promo ends on March 13th, so I decided to convert some Avion points. I called in to the RBC rewards customer service line last night and gave them my westjet number. Looked at my WS $ statement this morning and the dollars + bonus amount were there. So it does not take long at all for those who are wondering.
