Odd question I guess... But what ever happened to gates N4 and N5? I can't chalk this one up to the Port's inability to count... I was just curious.

I don't know the story surrounding N4 & N5 but I do know that gates have been added/eliminated from the concourses over the years depending on the fleet mix (narrowbody/widebody/commuter) of the airline using the area.

I'll check on the history of N4/N5.

You know... it's possible that when UA had 747 service to HKG and NRT they might have had to absorb the adjacient space--perhaps two gates. Too bad they don't do that anymore. I'd settle for the return of LHR and HNL.
